Applicable sales tax will be automatically calculated and added at checkout for all orders shipping to destinations within the state of California. Orders shipped outside of California are not subject to sales tax.

Orders are are carefully packaged by hand from the studio and typically ship within 3–5 business days.

We use a transparent, tiered flat-rate shipping system. This ensures that small items stay highly affordable to ship, while precious, one-of-a-kind original works receive the premium protection, heavy-duty packaging, and insurance they require.

• Medium Art Shipping | $10.00
  
  • Applies to: Feature Prints (Large Prints) and Matted Originals (4x6 originals matted to 5x7).
  • Covers mid-sized artwork secured in heavy-duty, bend-proof visual art mailers.
• Premium Secure Shipping | $15.00
  
  • Applies to: Collector Originals (Double-matted 8x10 originals) and Large Minis (Framed Original Minis).
  • This premium tier covers specialized box packaging, extensive cushioning for frames, full tracking, and comprehensive shipping insurance to completely guarantee that your one-of-a-kind investment arrives in pristine condition.

Currently, our online checkout is optimized for domestic shipping within the United States. If you are an international collector and would like a custom shipping quote for an original painting or print, please reach out directly at maria@laluz.gallery with the title of the piece and your delivery address.

• Original Paintings: All sales of original, hand-painted artwork are final. Because these are delicate, one-of-a-kind treasures, returns or exchanges are not available.
  
• Fine Art Prints & Reproductions: General returns or exchanges are evaluated strictly on a case-by-case basis. If there is a verified issue with your print order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at maria@laluz.gallery.

Original Paintings: If you must cancel an original painting purchase, you must do so within 24 hours. These cancellations will incur a 20% restocking and re-marketing fee to cover payment processing fees and the removal of the piece from the active gallery market.

Fine Art Prints: You can cancel your print order within the first 24 hours of placement for a full refund. Cancellations requested after 24 hours will incur a 15% restocking fee, as the printing process will have already begun.

We take immense pride in packing our artwork securely. However, La Luz Gallery is not liable for mishandling or failed delivery by third-party shipping carriers (USPS or UPS). If your package arrives damaged, please take photographs of both the exterior packaging and the artwork immediately, and contact us within 7 days of delivery at maria@laluz.gallery so we can assist you in finding a solution.
